Why Our Motorcycle Transport Stands Out
Motorcycle transport through Giant Van starts with a booking that includes the bike's make, model, and condition (running or non-running).
The driver arrives with a Luton van fitted with a wheel chock, paddock stand, and ratchet straps.
The bike is wheeled up the tail lift, secured in the chock, and strapped at four points to prevent movement during transit.
A photographic condition report is produced at collection and delivery.
Non-runners are loaded using the tail lift and manual handling by the driver.
Transit insurance covers the declared value of the bike.
Most UK deliveries complete within 24 to 48 hours.

A full-property bike delivery job with two movers and a Luton van starts from £149 regionally and £199 in London.
Long-distance bike delivery moves over 100 miles start from £220.
Pricing is fixed once the quote is confirmed — no extras are added on the day.
If access conditions at either address cause unexpected difficulty, the team notes this and may issue a revised quote for approval before proceeding, but only with your agreement.
Half-day and full-day rates are available for complex jobs.

Transport a Motorbike — FAQs
How does Giant Van secure a motorbike during transport?
Every motorbike is loaded via tail lift, placed in a wheel chock bolted to the van floor, and secured with four ratchet straps attached to anchor points. The straps hold the bike upright and prevent lateral movement during braking and cornering. Handlebars are wrapped in padding. Side panels are protected with foam.
A condition report with photos is produced at collection and delivery.
Can Giant Van transport a non-running motorbike?
Giant Van transports non-running motorbikes using the Luton van's hydraulic tail lift. The driver manually positions the bike onto the lift platform and into the wheel chock. No engine power is needed. SORN, accident-damaged, and project bikes are all accepted. Non-runners carry a £30 supplement. Same-day collection is available across most of the UK.
