Full and Partial Packing Help for Every Move
Let us pack your whole home, or just the rooms you would rather not tackle. Quality materials, trained packers, and one fixed price, in 149+ UK towns, cities, and counties.
Full packing or partial packing, you choose
Full packing means our team packs every room, so all you need to do is show us where things go at the other end. Partial packing means you pack the easy items yourself, like clothes and books, and leave the rest to us, such as the kitchen, fragile items, and anything awkward to wrap. Either way, your belongings are handled by the same insured, trained crew.
What's included in every packing service
- Strong double-walled boxes in small, medium, and large sizes
- Bubble wrap, tissue paper, and tape for fragile items

Careful handling for fragile and valuable items
Glass, mirrors, and ornaments are wrapped by hand and packed with paper padding, so nothing shifts in the box during transit. Antiques, artwork, and other valuable pieces get their own labelled box and travel separately in the van. Our crews check fragile items in and out at both ends of the move, so you know exactly what has been loaded and what has arrived.
The order packing happens in
Packing works best backwards, starting with the things you will not miss. Books, out-of-season clothes, spare bedding, the loft, the garage and anything decorative can go weeks ahead and nothing is lost. Kitchens and wardrobes come next, in the week before, keeping back one set of plates and a few days of clothes.
The last day covers what you have been living out of, and that is the part worth doing yourself even when a crew is packing the rest, because only you know what you need to reach on the first night.
Keep one box that never goes in the van: chargers, medication, keys, paperwork, kettle, toilet roll and whatever a child or a pet needs at bedtime. If a packing crew is coming, they will still work in this order, so the more of the early categories you have done, the shorter and cheaper their visit is.
What packing does to moving-day timing
A fully packed home loads at roughly twice the speed of a partly packed one, and the reason is simple: a crew carrying sealed boxes moves in a straight line, while a crew dealing with loose items has to make a decision about every one of them. That difference decides whether a move finishes in daylight.
It also decides what happens at the far end, because sealed and labelled boxes can be put in the right rooms as they come off, while unlabelled ones end up in the hallway and get moved twice. If time is tight, a part-packing visit the day before is usually better value than adding hours on the day itself.
The kitchen alone is often worth booking, since it holds the most fragile items and takes the longest of any room in the house.
Packing services: frequently asked questions
What is the difference between full and partial packing?
Full packing means our team packs your entire home, from the kitchen to the loft. Partial packing means you pack the simple things yourself, like clothes and books, and we take on the rest, such as the kitchen, fragile items, and anything awkward to wrap.
You choose the option that suits you when you book, and both come with the same insured team.
What packing materials do you supply?
We bring strong double-walled boxes in three sizes, bubble wrap, tissue paper, tape, and wardrobe boxes that keep clothes on their hangers. Large items get furniture blankets and protective wrap. Materials are included in the price, so you do not need to buy anything before moving day.
How do you pack fragile and valuable items?
Each fragile item is wrapped by hand in bubble wrap or tissue paper, then packed with padding so nothing can move inside the box. Valuable pieces, like antiques, artwork, and mirrors, get their own labelled box and travel separately in the van.
Our crews are trained to spot fragile items and pack them last, so they come off first at the other end.
Can I mix full and partial packing across different rooms?
Yes. Many customers pack their own bedrooms and let us handle the kitchen, garage, or anything fragile. Tell us what you want covered when you book, and we build your packing service around it. There is no need to choose one option for the whole house.
