Motorbike transport across the whole of mainland Britain. Collection and delivery is available in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, Bristol, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cardiff, Newcastle, Nottingham, Liverpool, and all surrounding areas. Same-day slots are available on many routes. Call 020 3129 6180 to check availability at your postcode.
Giant Van operates a dedicated motorbike transport service built around the specific needs of two-wheeled vehicles. Unlike general courier options, we use purpose-fitted vans with wheel chocks, soft-tie straps, and padded side rails that hold bikes firmly in place throughout transit. This setup works for all categories, including sports bikes, cruisers, naked bikes, adventure tourers, vintage machines, and off-road motorcycles.
We handle both collection and delivery. You choose a time window that suits you, and our driver arrives to load the bike carefully before securing it for the road. The entire journey is covered by our goods-in-transit insurance, so your machine is protected from pick-up to drop-off.
Our service is used by private individuals selling or buying bikes through online platforms, motorcycle dealerships managing stock transfers between sites, race teams transporting competition bikes to circuits, and breakdown recovery customers who need a damaged machine moved to a workshop. We also assist relocation customers who need their bikes transported to a new home address. Whatever the context, the standard of care remains the same: your motorbike arrives in exactly the condition it left.

Giant Van offers 6 more features than Traditional Movers
Pricing for motorbike transport depends on three main factors: the collection and delivery postcodes, the size and weight of the machine, and the timeline you need.
Standard bikes on routes up to 100 miles typically start from around £80 to £120 for a single vehicle.
Longer cross-country runs or larger bikes with extra bulk, such as touring bikes fitted with panniers and top boxes, carry a higher rate to reflect the additional space and care required.
We price per booking rather than per mile alone, which means you get a fixed quote upfront rather than an estimate that changes at the end.
There are no hidden fuel surcharges or weekend premiums baked into our base rate.
For volume bookings, dealers and fleet operators who need regular transfers can speak to our team about account pricing.
Running multiple collections per month makes a fixed-rate agreement more cost-effective than booking case by case.
Quotes are free and take less than two minutes over the phone.
Call with your collection and delivery postcodes, the make and model of the bike, and your preferred dates.
We will confirm availability and pricing on the spot.
Same-day and next-day slots are available subject to route and van availability.
Call 020 3129 6180 with your collection postcode, delivery postcode, and the make and model of your bike. We give you a single all-in price with no fuel surcharges or hidden extras. Quotes take under two minutes and we confirm availability at the same time.
All prices include a fully insured crew, van, and moving blankets.
Get your exact priceTake close-up shots of any existing scratches, dents, or paintwork chips so you have a clear record of its condition at collection.
A full tank adds unnecessary weight and increases fire risk during transit.
An armed alarm can trigger during loading or in transit, causing distress and making it harder for the driver to manage the vehicle safely.
Detach tank bags, sat-nav mounts, and any accessories that could shift and cause damage during the journey.
Correct tyre pressure helps the bike sit stable in its chocks and reduces stress on wheel rims while strapped down.
If the bike cannot be rolled or has a brake fault, we need to know so we can plan the loading accordingly.
For long overseas-style distances this sometimes applies, but for standard UK transport it is usually not needed. Ask us if unsure.
We may need to roll or position the bike before strapping, and starting the engine briefly can help with precise placement in the van.
Enter your collection and delivery addresses, select your property size, and list any large items. See a fixed price in under 60 seconds.
Pick a date and time slot that works for you. Add packing materials or extra helpers if you need them.
A fully insured crew arrives on time, wraps and loads your belongings, and delivers everything to your new home.

Giant Van does not offer a stripped-back service where extras cost more.
Every motorbike transport booking includes a consistent set of protections and features as standard.
Goods-in-transit insurance covers your machine for its agreed value throughout the journey.
You do not need to arrange separate cover or pay an additional premium.
Our policy covers physical damage caused during loading, transit, and unloading.
GPS tracking is active on all our vehicles.
You can call our dispatch team at any point to get a live update on where the van is and when it is expected to arrive.
For higher-value machines, we can also send you a real-time tracking link if requested at the time of booking.
Soft-tie strap systems prevent contact with chrome, paintwork, or fairings during securing.
Our drivers are trained in correct strap placement for different bike configurations, and we use edge protectors on any strap that might touch a frame or fender.
A condition report is completed at collection and countersigned by both driver and customer.
You receive a copy by email within an hour of loading.
This document records the bike's state at departure and forms the basis of any claim if needed, though damage claims are very rare with our method of securing.
Two-person loading assistance is available on request for heavier machines over 250 kg or for bikes that cannot be ridden to the van ramp.
Call or use the online booking form on our website. Give us your collection postcode, delivery postcode, the make and model of the bike, and your preferred date.
We confirm availability and give you an all-in price with no extras. Payment is taken securely at the time of booking confirmation.
Follow our preparation checklist above. Make sure the bike is accessible at the collection address and that someone is present to sign the condition report.
Our driver arrives within the agreed time window, loads and secures the bike, completes the condition report with you, and heads to the delivery address. You or the recipient signs at delivery, and the job is done. Same-day bookings are available on many UK routes. If you have an urgent need, call the team directly rather than booking online, as phone bookings allow us to match you to the nearest available driver faster. Our team operates seven days a week.
Giant Van runs motorbike transport routes across mainland Britain.
Our primary coverage spans London, the South East, the Midlands, the North West, Yorkshire, the North East, and Scotland as far north as Aberdeen and Inverness. We also serve South West England including Devon and Cornwall, Wales, and the East of England.
Popular city-to-city routes include London to Manchester, Birmingham to Edinburgh, Bristol to Leeds, Glasgow to Newcastle, and Southampton to Sheffield.
Most inter-city routes can be completed within one working day.
Remote rural collections are possible across most of the UK.
If your collection point is more than 10 miles from a major A-road, please mention this when booking so we can assess access. We have managed collections from farm tracks, narrow lane addresses, and private estates, so very few locations are genuinely inaccessible.
We do not currently operate scheduled routes to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man, or the Channel Islands, as those crossings require ferry arrangements.
However, we can advise on how to connect our UK land transport with ferry services if you need a package that bridges both. Call to discuss any route you are unsure about.

“Best removal service I've used”
Sarah, London
There are several motorcycle transport providers operating across the UK, and customers who compare services consistently come back to Giant Van for a handful of concrete reasons.
Fixed pricing with no surprises. We quote a single figure and that is what you pay. No fuel additions, no weekend rates, no charge for stairs or long carries. What you agree on the phone is what appears on the invoice.
Specialist equipment in every van. General carriers often transport bikes alongside boxes, furniture, or pallets using ratchet straps that risk paint damage. Our vans carry dedicated motorcycle anchorage systems as standard, not as an option that has to be requested.
Direct driver communication. You get a contact number for your assigned driver on the day of collection. If you need to check arrival time, ask about progress, or make a minor change to delivery instructions, you call the driver rather than going through a call centre.
Experience with high-value machines. Our team has transported track-prepared race bikes, concours classic motorcycles, and brand-new dealers' stock worth tens of thousands of pounds. We treat every machine with the same level of care regardless of its retail value.
Honest availability. If we cannot serve your date or route, we tell you immediately and do not take a booking we cannot fulfil. That approach means cancellations are extremely rare.

Spring sees a strong surge from March to May as riders who stored their bikes over winter move them for servicing, prepare for the riding season, or complete private sales that built up during the colder months. This is traditionally the busiest period for single-bike movements.
Race teams and track-day participants needing bikes moved to circuits across Britain account for a significant share of bookings during these months. The Motorcycle Live show in November also generates a high volume of dealer stock transfers and collector transport requests in the weeks around the event.
If your transport need is not urgent, booking in winter can also give you slightly more flexibility on timing.
For race events with hard deadlines, two weeks notice is preferable. Emergency and same-day services are always worth asking about, but availability is tighter between April and August.
Mondays and Tuesdays are the best days to secure preferred time windows for weekend collections.
Booked online in under a minute and the crew turned up right on time. Everything was wrapped carefully and nothing was damaged. Genuinely the easiest move I've had.
The quote I got online was exactly what I paid. No hidden fees, no extra charges on the day. The two-man crew were professional, fast, and really friendly.
Our original movers cancelled last minute. Giant Van had a crew available the same day. They handled a full 2-bed flat and had us settled in by evening.
Every move we handle is backed by the same commitment: arrive on time, handle your belongings with care, and leave you settled in your new space. Our drivers are trained, insured, and reviewed after every job.
Giant Van Team, Giant Van Driver
Giant Van has built its motorbike transport service around one principle: your bike should arrive in the same condition it left.
Every process we follow, from the strapping method we use to the insurance we carry, exists to back that principle up.
