Here is exactly what happens from the moment you book with Giant Van to the moment your belongings are in your new property.

Once you confirm your booking, you receive a confirmation by email and through our app.

The app shows your driver's name, photo, van registration, and live GPS location on the morning of your move. You do not need to guess when they will arrive.

Our driver will arrive at the agreed time.

For city-centre Manchester addresses, we aim to arrive between 7:30am and 8am to beat parking restrictions. For South Manchester suburban moves, a 9am or 10am start is more typical.

On arrival, the driver checks the item list against what needs to go on the van.

If anything has changed since your quote, they will flag it before loading starts. We do not wait until the job is done to tell you the price has changed.

Loading is carried out by the driver with your assistance if needed, or by our crew if you have booked a two-person team.

Items are secured in the van using straps and blankets. We carry removal blankets as standard.

At the destination, items are placed in the rooms you direct.

The driver will reassemble flat-pack furniture if you have booked our assembly add-on, which costs £25 for up to ten items.
