The main Quayside road is narrow in sections, particularly between the Swing Bridge and the Millennium Bridge.

For weekend moves, traffic near the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and the Sage Gateshead can slow access from the Gateshead side of the bridge.

If you are coming from the south, allow extra time on Saturday mornings in particular.
