Kenton has a mix of property types and road layouts that affect how a move runs on the day.

Kenton Lane itself is wide enough for a large Luton van to park on the road, but several of the side streets feeding off it are narrower.

Streets such as Thornbury Close and the cul-de-sacs around Kenton Gardens can be tight for a 7.5-tonne vehicle. Our standard Luton van fits most of them, but if you live on a particularly narrow street, mention it when you book and we will send the right-sized vehicle.

Kenton Bar Metro station sits just off the A191 at the southern edge of the area.

Loading on the A191 itself is restricted during peak hours. Wherever possible, our drivers approach from Kenton Road or Hillsview Avenue to avoid congestion.

Older terraced properties on Nuns Moor Road often have no driveway.

Street parking bays are usually available but can fill up in the mornings. For removals from these properties, we recommend booking for 8am before bay occupancy rises.

Many flats in the NE3 area have no lift.

Above the second floor, or where particularly heavy items are involved such as a piano or a large wardrobe, we may adjust the quote slightly. We always confirm this before you confirm the booking.
