Dundee has some access challenges that are worth knowing about before your delivery day.

The city centre around Commercial Street and Nethergate has restricted parking zones and narrow lanes. Our drivers are experienced with these areas and plan routes in advance.

In Hilltown, many properties are tenement flats with tight communal stairwells.

If your wardrobe is going to an upper floor, tell us when you book. We assess whether items can be taken up the internal stair or whether an external route via a window or balcony is safer. Wardrobes taller than 200cm often need to be carried in sections and assembled in the room.

Broughty Ferry Road and surrounding residential streets usually have easier access with on-street parking.

The same applies to the newer housing estates around Whitfield and Fintry, where driveways and wide pavements give our team room to work.

In the West End, around Perth Road and Magdalen Yard Road, Victorian stone tenements are common.

Communal doors can be narrow. Check your stairwell width before booking and share the dimensions with us. As a guide, most standard wardrobes need at least 75cm clearance to navigate around a staircase turn.

Parking permits or suspensions are sometimes needed for busy city centre streets.
