The city walls restrict vehicle access on several routes, and the historic centre around Eastgate Street and Northgate Street has delivery windows with time restrictions. Our crews plan routes the day before each job, checking current road works on the A51 Tarvin Road and the A56 Hoole Road so arrival times stay accurate.

In CH1, parking a removal van near the Rows or along Watergate Street requires a permit or a very early start before traffic builds.

We hold valid working licences that allow us to load and unload in restricted zones when formal permit applications are in place. We advise customers to contact Cheshire West and Chester Council at least 48 hours before a Saturday move to request a temporary suspension for on-street spaces.

CH2 covers Hoole, Bache, and Newton, where residential roads like Faulkner Street and Sandy Lane are generally wide enough for a Luton van but can be tight during school-run hours on Saturday mornings if local events are running at the Northgate Arena.

CH3 includes Christleton, Rowton, and Waverton, where farm access lanes occasionally limit larger vehicles. We always confirm vehicle size suitability for your specific street before confirming the booking.

CH4 takes in Saltney and Lache, bordering Wales on the A483 corridor.

Cross-border moves from CH4 to Flintshire or Wrexham postcodes carry no additional charge for distances under 20 miles. For anything beyond that, we quote a mileage supplement at the time of booking so you know the full cost upfront.

Chester to Manchester is approximately 40 miles via the M56 and M60. Both routes carry a quoted mileage supplement calculated at the time of booking. Weekend moves on these corridors need to account for the M56 weekend daytime traffic, particularly around junction 12 at Runcorn, where congestion can add 20 to 30 minutes.

Moves from Chester into North Wales, including Flintshire towns such as Connah's Quay, Shotton, and Buckley, are straightforward via the A55 dual carriageway and stay within our standard local rate for distances under 20 miles.
