Pricing is straightforward.

Our Man and Van service starts at £45 per hour, which covers one driver and a Transit-size van. Most single-item furniture deliveries within Slough take between one and two hours, making them cost-effective even at short notice.

For full home moves, we charge by property size.

A one-bedroom flat in Slough, for example near Park Street (SL1 1PE) or around the Queensway, typically costs between £250 and £400. A two-bedroom house, which is the most common size in areas like Chalvey or Baylis, runs from £400 to £650. A three-bedroom property, common in Farnham Royal or along Stoke Road, costs between £650 and £900.

These prices include loading and unloading, blanket wrapping for fragile pieces, and fuel within Slough.

We do not add a surcharge for weekend moves. Same-day bookings are available subject to van availability, and we never charge a call-out fee if you cancel with more than two hours' notice.

If you need packing materials, boxes or furniture wrap, we supply them at cost.

Dismantling and reassembly of flat-pack furniture is available as an add-on from £25 per unit. IKEA pieces from the nearby Wembley or Coventry stores are something we reassemble regularly for Slough customers.

New furniture coming in often means old furniture going out.

Slough Borough Council operates the Chalvey Household Waste Recycling Centre on Chiltern Road (SL1 2SP). This is Slough's main rubbish tip. It accepts sofas, mattresses, wardrobes, and most other household furniture free of charge for Slough residents. It's open seven days a week, typically from 08:00 to 16:00, though hours vary by season.

If you don't have a vehicle big enough to take old items to the tip, or if you'd rather not make the trip yourself, Giant Van can do a single collection and disposal run.

We load your unwanted pieces and take them to Chalvey Recycling Centre or arrange bulky waste collection through the council's paid service. We'll advise which is cheaper depending on the volume of items.

Some furniture is too good for the tip.

If your old sofa or dining table is in reasonable condition, we can take it to one of Slough's charity shops or arrange a collection point for a furniture reuse charity instead. This is something we suggest as standard for items that clearly still have life in them.
