The South Kensington campus is the main hub.

The main entrance sits on Exhibition Road SW7. The Faculty of Medicine is split across Hammersmith Hospital in W12, Charing Cross Hospital in Fulham, and St Mary's Hospital in Paddington W2. The Business School is on Queensway in Kensington. We cover moves to and from all of these.

For halls, the university operates Beit Hall on Prince Consort Road SW7, Wilkinson Hall in Hammersmith W6, Tizard Hall in South Kensington, and Eastside Halls on Hornton Street in Kensington W8.

Beyond halls, most Imperial students live in rented flats across Earl's Court, Fulham, Shepherds Bush, and Hammersmith.

A little preparation makes the difference between a move that finishes on time and one that overruns.

Check parking before your move date.

Exhibition Road, Cromwell Road, and Gloucester Road all have parking restrictions that change by time of day and day of week. If you are moving from a managed halls building, speak to the accommodation office at least a week before your move date. They can sometimes reserve a loading bay slot for you.

Our drivers arrive prepared, but a confirmed loading bay makes the process much faster.

Book lifts in advance.

Beit Hall and Eastside Halls both have shared lifts that get busy on move-in and move-out days. If you can book a lift time slot through your accommodation office, do it. Our movers will work to your lift slot so there is no waiting around in corridors.

Disassemble large furniture before the driver arrives.

Beds, wardrobes, and flat-pack shelving units take up far less van space when broken down. Most furniture comes apart with an Allen key in ten to fifteen minutes. This simple step reduces van loading time and often brings the total job time down by thirty minutes or more.

Label your boxes by room.

It sounds obvious, but it speeds up unloading significantly. If every box says which room it goes to at the new address, the driver can place each one correctly without asking you each time.

Move mid-week if you can.

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday moves in South Kensington are typically quicker because the streets are less congested than at weekends. This also means our drivers can often arrive earlier in the day.
