We never attempt to move a pool table whole. Full disassembly reduces the risk of structural stress during lifting and transit. It also means each component can be wrapped individually.

Slate slabs are wrapped in two-inch furniture blankets and then taped with non-adhesive stretch film. The frame and legs receive the same treatment. Pockets and small hardware go into labelled boxes so nothing is lost.

Heavy items are loaded last so they sit flat and low. We use ratchet straps on all large components. Nothing moves during transit.

All goods transported by Giant Van are covered by our goods-in-transit policy. If something does go wrong, you are protected. We will not ask you to make a separate claim through your home insurance.

We confirm access at both ends before the move date. Older properties with narrow doorways or tight stairwells sometimes need additional crew or specialist equipment such as a stair-climbing dolly. We assess this upfront so there are no surprises on the day.

You receive live updates through the app so you know exactly where your table is and when to expect arrival. Our drivers do not take unnecessary breaks or detours. We operate direct routes.
