The type of piano changes the entire removal plan.

An upright weighs between 150 kg and 270 kg depending on age and build. A baby grand starts at around 225 kg. A full concert grand can exceed 500 kg. Our Newport teams are trained on all three.

Newport's newer developments along the Usk waterfront and around the Friars Walk shopping centre have their own access rules.

Delivery windows are often restricted, and some buildings require proof of insurance before any contractor enters. We carry all required documentation.

For Caerleon (NP18) and the village properties on the outskirts of Newport, lane widths and low bridges near the Roman fortress and amphitheatre area are considerations.
